The movie depicts Wolverine's violent coming of age and the tragic loss of his love interest Kayla Silver Fox (Lynn Collins), as well as encounters with William Stryker, the Weapon X program, and his seemingly-maniacal half-brother Sabretooth.

Together they discover whether there is still hope for him to find true love or if he really is the heartbreaker everyone thinks he is.
